Albert is a 4-5 yr old white and tabby male, he is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and will be rehomed with 5 week free pet insurance.

Albert was taken into one of our vets with a nasty injury to the side of his face when he came to us last year, he was still entire at that time and had probably been involved in a scuffle with another cat as he was a bit grubby too and looked like he had been straying. He soon healed up and found a new home last year but sadly has come back to us as he isn't getting on with the older resident cat.

Albert is generally a lovely lad bless him, he enjoyed a fuss straight away in the vet hospital even though he probably didn't feel too great, he has obviously been someone's pet before finding himself on the streets
like so many of these unfortunate souls but whatever has happened to him in the past has left him wary of men as in his last home he did lash out at the male of house as he was stroking him on several occasions, he was much more relaxed around the ladies in the home.

He does love his home comforts though and loves lying on the sofa's or in front of the fire. He was living in quite a rural location and as such was a bit of a hunter although he is actually so big now he probably finds it a challenge to sneak up on anything, he definitely needs a bit of a diet.

He loves having a brush and seems to enjoy a bit of pampering.

Albert really loves his food and cant wait for you to put his pouches of meat in the bowl, he enjoys free access to dry food all day too but ewe have switched him to a "light" version to help him control his waisteline. He
has been clean with the litter tray in the cattery too and will toilet outside once settled in a home.

He needs to be the only cat in his new
home, he really isnt keen on dogs at all and will actually go on the attack if they come into his space. Due to his occasional lashing out he needs a child free home.

He will need a home WELL AWAY FROM ANY BUSY OR FAST ROADS with a nice garden to play in. Being fostered in Swadlincote but can be rehomed further afield subject to homecheck and adoption donation of £75
