Bear (tabby and white) and Boots (black) are a pair of brothers looking for a home together, they are microchipped, flea and worm treated, had a first vaccination so far and can return to our vets in Swadlincote, Tamworth or Northampton for a free 2nd vaccination and castration once old enough. They will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance and have a clean bill of health.
Bear and Boots were born in a garden but came to us with their mum when they were only around 5 weeks old. They did lack those very early weeks socialisation and as such were incredibly shy and hissy when they arrived. They have now been used to being stroked daily and whilst still shy are getting better all the time. Boots the little black boy is the calmest, he is a sweet boy with no an ounce of malice in him, Bear got his name because he is big and bold and likes to growl at you, he thinks he is big and scary but at only 900g's his growl is definitely worse than his bite!
These boys will need a very experience cat owning home though ideally with people who have worked with these kind of shy under socialised kittens before, we get lots of people saying they are happy to take these kittens on only then to struggle to understand why they can't just pick them up, or why the kittens keep running away and hiding from them, it really does take time, patience, understanding and often a bit of what we call "forced love" to get these little ones to understand that the hand coming towards them only means good things such as a treat or a gentle stroke and tickle which actually feels quite nice.
The kittens can of course live with other friendly neutered cats, they would get used to a quiet, gentle cat friendly dog but would need children to be older and quieter too (10yrs plus)
Bear and Boots both eat really well, they love their Whiskas kitten food in Jelly and their IAMS kitten dry food. They are both brilliant with the litter tray.
They will need a home WELL AWAY FROM ANY BUSY OR FAST ROADS with a nice garden to play in once old enough and neutered.
Being fostered in Swadlincote, South Derbys but can be rehomed further afield subject to homecheck and adoption donation of £90 per kitten.
