Blaine is a 5yr old yorkie black and tan yorkie, he is castrated, microchipped, had a scale and polish on his teeth, flea and worm treated and had a 1st vaccination so far. He will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance. 

Blaine came to us from the dog pound after being found as a stray and no one claimed him. He was very unkempt and has had an initial bath and tidy up but will be having a full groom this week before rehoming. Blaine arrived with us feeling very under the weather with kennel cough and its taken a couple of weeks to get him well bless him. We x-rayed his chest as he was not improving and was pretty depressed but luckily his trachea was all ok and he had some slight congestion on his chest which has improved with the treatment he has been getting and he is now feeling much brighter. Whilst he will still have the remnants of a cough for a number of weeks as it can take an age to completely go he is not contagious to other dogs.

Blaine is a really sweet boy who always looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders with his worried look but after having a rough time its time for him to only know how it feels to be warm, clean, well fed and loved. He is a friendly little lad who will need a slightly quieter home but a home with someone who is active and able to get him out for good length walks and adventures daily as he is a young dog and needs his exercise. He is best walked on a harness and he travels ok in the car.

Blaine is good with other dogs and can happily share his new home with another small neutered dog, he is also fine with dog savvy cats and can live with gentle quieter children aged 8yrs and over. 

He is generally clean in the house and is quiet and non destructive. He can be left for a few hours especially with another dog but wouldn't want to be alone for a full working day. He will need a home with a nice secure garden to play in.
