This dog is with our friends at Pupcakes Rescue and Rehabilitation in Wrangle, Lincs and we are assisting with his rehoming. Adopt Page 2 (pupcakesrescueandrehab.com)

Teddy is a 2yr old male pug, he is castrated, vaccinated ,microchipped and has a clean bill of health.

Teddy is a sweet natured boy who has undergone extensive rehabilitation work for reactivity to new people and dogs visiting inside the home. He does have a Level 2 bite history meaning he has bitten bruising and puncturing the skin. He has vastly improved in behaviour but will need ongoing support in a new home in order to succeed.

Teddy needs a quiet home, with his own decompression/ holding area so that firstly he can relax and not be overwhelmed by constant
domesticity and secondly as a secure holding area for visitors, people at the door etc. This could be a separate room, large puppy pen or crate maybe.

He would need a baby gate in the hallway so he cannot greet the postman, delivery men or visitors as he will become stranger reactive again. He needs buffering from new people and dogs and to have slow,
calm meets and greets and always on lead.

Teddy's new family will need to please work with his rescue remotely for a while after him joining them to help them with his settling in period, then advice and help to slowly start opening up his world and handle situations such as visitors etc etc. The rescue's own
behaviourist will offer ongoing remote support to new adopters.

Teddy is a fab, fun, loving boy when he trusts his people he simply needs boundaries to be in place to support him in the home environment. He mixes well with dogs out and has lots of pug friends here at rescue. He can live with another calm neutered dog, he isnt cat tested and cannot be homed with children under 18yrs due to his bite history.

He is housebroken and crate trained and happy to be left for reasonable durations of time in the day.

There is an adoption donation for Teddy of £195, he is currently located in Wrangle nr Boston, Lincs and prospective adopters need to be prepared to travel there to meet with him and his rescue. Subject to homecheck.
