Claude is an approx 18 month old ragdoll boy, he is castrated, microchipped, fully vaccinated, flea and worm treated and will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.

Claude came to us as a stray a few months ago and found a lovely home but sadly he has been a bit of a bully to the resident female cat so has needed to come back to us to find his perfect new home.

Claude has been diagnosed with Stage 2 Renal disease, he is a young cat to have this so we do think he may have ingested something that may have affected his kidneys in the time he was straying. His kidney function is being supported with renal wet and dry food and supplements which he will need to remain on for life. He LOVES his food and eats really well. There is nothing to suggest this boy cant go on to have a long and happy life and he certainly shows no signs of being ill in himself.

Claude is a typical loving friendly raggy with people, he loves being brushed and is very playful with his toys. Its unusual for the breed to not be ok with other cats but we dont really know what he has been through before coming to us so he clearly wants all the attention to himself as the only feline. We are happy to consider homes with gentle older children age 7yrs plus.

Claude will need a home with a cat proofed garden (or a large catio) where he can get some outside time, having experienced the outdoors part of his frustration could have been not going out but with the combination of his breed and his kidney issue means that it wouldnt be safe to let him wander.

Being fostered in Swadlincote but can be rehomed further afield to the purfect home subject to homecheck and adoption donation of £150.
