Bonnie is around 2yrs old, she is a tabby and white, spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.

Bonnie came to us after she had been living in a car garage along with her 2 kittens, they were absolutely filthy when they arrived after living around oil, grease and dirt.  Whilst Bonnies kittens were thriving there was something just not quite right with Bonnie, she was eating well but not gaining the weight we wanted so we got her to the vets and her blood results shocked us all.....she had severe kidney damage! we were just not expecting that as she wasn't presenting as being ill.....just not thriving, the future just looked so bleak kat that point but there was no way we were giving up on her and whilst we couldn't confirm for definite my gut feeling was that her kidneys had been affected due to the toxins she had ingested from the garage trying to keep herself and her babies clean.

She was hospitalised and spent several days on fluids to flush her kidneys along with antibiotics, she was discharged back into our care for nursing and close monitoring and we started her on a supplement to help support the kidneys too.  This little fighter began to feel so much better and over the past 8 weeks she has made a miraculous recovery......her repeat bloods have improved every time we have tested her and she was able to be spayed a couple of weeks ago and has recovered brilliantly from that too. |She has gained so much weight and now looks a picture of health...we are so so delighted for her.

Bonnie is now ready to start the final part of her journey with us and find a 5* loving, nurturing forever home where she can be treated like the princess she is. She is a dear little cat who loves a fuss and has grown so much in confidence, she has been through such a lot and has a slightly sassy side when she doesn't like something but is mostly a gentle, sweet and friendly little girl.

She isn't too keen on dogs, she is ok with other cats as long as they aren't in her face (she is bedroom sharing with Mavis), she can live with gentle children aged 6yrs and over.

Bonnie is clean with the litter tray and is eating well, she loves her wet food and we have been giving her renal support dry food but she doesn't have to remain on that. Her dinking is now regulated to completely normal amounts.

Bonnie will need a home WELL AWAY FROM ANY BUSY OR FAST ROADS with a nice garden to play in once full settled in. Being fostered in Swadlincote, Derby's but can be rehomed further afield subject to home check and adoption donation of £100
