Chester is a 12-18 month old cockapoo cross Lhasa we think, he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance. He has a clean bill of health from our vets.

Chester came to us from the stray pound after being found straying and not claimed, he was underweight and matted in places but otherwise well. He settled into foster really well.

Chester is a great little chap, he is so unusual as he has has the body size of a cockapoo but on short little queen Anne legs, he weighs around 14kg to give an idea of size.

Chester is a very loving, licky boy who loves to jump up for a fuss and to give you lots of kisses, he is very tactile and loves his people. He has been an easy boy to handle once settled in, he was a little grumbly when he first arrived and doesn't like being manhandled
(so taken by the collar etc) but responds brilliantly to positive reinforcement and the offer of a treat. He was an absolutely perfect boy to groom recently and was good with the vets too.

Chester absolutely LOVES other dogs, (he loved them a bit too much on arrival and was a bit humpy but now neutered this has settled a lot), he would definitely like another young, playful dog in his new home as he loves their company and also a came of wrestling and chase, he best friends here are a Weimaraner and another doodle type and they play constantly.  He is workable around cats as there really is no malice but he may bark at them at first. We don't know his history and he isn't keen on being pulled around so any resident children would need to be
older (10yrs plus) and respectful.

He is housetrained, generally quiet overnight and sleeps downstairs with the other dogs, he travels ok in the car and can be left for a few hours in the day but wouldn't want to be left for a full working day as he is only a youngster. He loves his walks, he stays on a
longline with us as we aren't confident about his recall yet.

He will need a home with a nice secure garden to play in.

Being fostered in Swadlincote, South Derbys but can be rehomed further afield subject to homecheck and adoption donation of £250
