Dolly is an 18 month old small mixed breed (yorkie, chi, maltese, bichon), she is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, has had a small umbilical hernia repaired and has a clean bill of health. She will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.

Dolly came to us as an emergency along with 5 other small dogs after their owner was evicted from her home and she and the dogs had nowhere to go.
Dolly is a gorgeous and tiny little lady who hasn't had the best start and arrived with us with a badly hacked off coat where she must have been left to get matted and dirty, she had some sores on her body too. Some medicated baths and tlc have seen these heal up now.

Dolly has lacked much proper socialisation in the big wide world and is a girl at first with people she doesn't know but once she gets to know you she will jump onto your lap for a cuddle, she just needs some time and reassurance. Dolly can finds new situations and people worrying and was scared on her recent vet trip but did really well.

Dolly has always been with other dogs and therefore will either need another resident neutered dog in his new home or she could be rehomed with one of the other dogs he arrived with (she gets on well with Jeffrey) as a pair. She has settled in well into his foster home and sleeps quietly downstairs at night with the other dogs, he can be left for a few hours in the daytime and is doing ok with her housetraining.

Dolly doesn't know about walking on a lead and will need work with this in her new home starting off in the garden gradually getting her used to a secure harness and lead before even thinking about trying to venture out, she will need a nice secure garden to play in too. She could possibly live with a dog savvy cat and resident children should be 5yrs and over.  Being fostered in Swadlincote but can be rehomed further afield subject to homecheck and adoption donation of £250.If you can offer this pretty girl the experienced forever home she needs please email us telling us all about your home offer IN DETAIL along with your full address and contact number to wonkypetsrescue.com
