Jack is an 18 month old small mixed breed (yorkie, chi, maltese, bichon), he is castrated, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and has a clean bill of health. He will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.

Jack came to us as an emergency along with 5 other small dogs after their owner was evicted from her home and she and the dogs had nowhere to go.

Jack is a sweet little lad who hasn't had the best start and arrived with us with a badly hacked off coat where he must have been left to get matted and dirty. He hasn't had much proper socialisation in the big wide world and is a shy boy at first but once he gets to know you he will jump onto your lap for a cuddle, he just needs some time and
reassurance. He finds new situations very worrying and was scared on his recent vet trip bless him, there is no malice from him but care needs to be taken as he will be a flight risk until settled and more confident.

Jack has always been with other dogs and therefore will either need another resident spayed female dog in his new home or he could be rehomed with one of the other dogs he arrived with (Dolly) as a pair. He has settled in well into his foster home and sleeps quietly downstairs at night with the other dogs, he can be left for a few hours in the daytime and is doing ok with his housetraining.

Jack doesn't know about walking on a lead and will need work with this in his new home starting off in the garden gradually getting him used to a secure harness and lead before even thinking about trying to venture out, he will need a nice secure garden to play in too. He could possibly live with a dog savvy cat and resident children should be 5yrs and over.

Being fostered in Swadlincote but can be rehomed further afield subject to homecheck and adoption donation of £250.
