Keira is a <1yr old brown rosetted Bengal female, she is spayed, microchipped, flea and worm treated and will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance. She can return to one of our vets in Swadlincote, Tamworth or Northampton for a free 2nd vaccination when due. She has a clean bill of health.
Keira was sadly left to stray unspayed and then gave birth in a garden to 3 little kittens, luckily she and her babies were kept safe and then came to us a few days later. Despite a battle with an upset tummy caused by a common parasite called Giardia (which is now eradicated and resolved), she has been a brilliant mum raising them but it's now her turn to find a loving, responsible home who can care for her forever.
Keira is an absolutely beautiful little cat, she is tiny and weighs less than 3kg, she will remain a small cat now that she has had kittens so young. She is a really sweet, friendly and loving little cat who can be a little wary initially but once she knows she is safe and loves a fuss and is adorable. She is a bengal so of course has a voice when she wants to be heard but she isnt a really noisy girl as some of this breed can be. She will make someone a great little companion.
Keira is eating really well, we have kept her on a gastrointestinal food at the moment to support her gut health but will be weaning her onto a normal good quality food. She is clean with the litter tray.
She hasnt been around other cats really since being with us but she has a gentle nature so can probably learn to live alongside another friendly cat or can be the only cat in the home, she doesnt seem too bothered about dogs so could probably live with a calm, cat friendly canine and we are happy to consider homes with sensible children aged 5yrs and over.
Keira is seeking a home WELL AWAY FROM ANY BUSY OR FAST ROADS with a nice garden where she can go outside to play safely once fully settled in. Being fostered in Swadlincote, South Derby's but can be rehomed further afield subject to home check and adoption donation of £125.
