Milo is a 10yr old smooth coated chihuahua, he is now castrated, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and had a dental with us. He will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.

 

Milo was seen advertised on freeads and a person got him to safety and then asked for help with a rescue space, on arrival with them he was found to have fleas and unfortunately they decided to shave him to get rid of them hence his dodgy haircut but it ill all grow back in time. 

 

On arrival with us we got him straight through to the vets where it was discovered he has a grade 3 heart murmur but it is a nice steady and regular heartbeat and he shows no outward symptoms at all and does not require medication. He needed to be castrated and have a dental and he was absolutely fine under anaesthetic, he only had 1 tooth removed and the rest all cleaned up. 

 

Milo is such a dear little dog, he seems to take everything in his stride and is a lovely, sweet character. He loves to get on your lap for a fuss and is happy to meet and greet anyone who wants to give him some attention.

 

He came into foster with lots of other small dogs without any issues at all and he enjoys the company of other smaller dogs, he will play nicely with them before they all snuggle down for a snooze.

 

Milo walks nicely on the lead and travels well in the car, he is clean in the house and is fine being left for a few hours. He does sleep on the fosterers bed at night but he is so tiny you hardly notice him.

 

Milo would like a home with a little neutered canine companion, another chi would be great, we may consider a home as an only dog if someone is around most of the time. He likes to play with the dog savvy cats in the foster home so can live with a cat used to dogs and he is absolutely find around children so can live with gentle children aged 5yrs and over and is fine with younger visiting children.

 

Being fostered in Swadlincote, South Derby's but can be rehomed further afield subject to home check and adoption donation of £250
