Mimi is an 18 month old grey and white female, she is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, flea and worm treated and has a clean bill of health. She will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.
Mimi found herself as a scared stray living in an elderly ladies garden, sadly not spayed at the time she gave birth to two litters of kittens over last summer (dont worry we caught all of them and brought them all into rescue) who she was a brilliant mum too. They were very well fed by the lady who's garden they were in but needed help.
When we trapped Mimi we fully expected her to be semi feral having been living rough for so long but after a few days settling in and with the help of some Lik e Liks, she soon started to appreciate that a hand coming towards her meant something nice and within a short time was enjoying a fuss from her foster mum, we were so very very happy for her.
Her trip to the vets to be spayed etc did set her back a few days but she soon blossomed again and trusts her foster mum. She is such a sweet little cat who will understandably be very nervous coming into a new home and will need someone with time and patience to let her settle and to build a bond but once she does she will continue to shine. She may never be a lap cat as such but you never know, time is a great healer and once her confidence grows when she is settled I'm sure she will amaze you.
Mimi definitely gets confidence from being around other cats and will 100% need another friendly feline in her forever home (or we do have one of her 4-5 month old female kittens she could be rehomed with as they are very close)
Dogs are a bit to scary for her and children would need to be older, gentle and quieter please.
She is very clean with the litter tray, she will want to go outside once fully settled in a few months time. She enjoys Whiskas in jelly wet food and some decent quality dry food too and of course loves a Dreamie or two as a treat.
Mimi will need a home WELL AWAY FROM ANY BUSY OR FAST ROADS with a nice garden so she can go outside safely.
Being fostered in Swadlincote, Derbys but can be rehomed further afield subject to homecheck and adoption donation of £100
