Poppy is a 5yr old ginger and white female, she is spayed, microchipped, flea and worm treated and will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance. We haven’t been able to vaccinate her due to the national shortage of cat vaccines currently.
Poppy was handed into us as her own told us she was moving and couldn’t take her. We were told she was a shy and timid cat. We have found Poppy to be anything but! She is very confident in the cattery with us, she will do anything for Dreamies or Webbox Meaty sticks, she loves to have a fuss BUT she does get carried away with herself and can give a sharp nip when she is over fussed or stimulated so we are working on some desensitisation with her at the moment. I suspect this may be the real reason she was handed in as her previous owner didn’t mention this about her.
Poppy is a great little character, she is full of beans and LOVES her food so its definitely the way to this girls heart. She is going to need an experienced cat savvy home.
Poppy isn’t suitable to be homed with small children but she could live with a small gentle cat friendly dog possibly. She is probably best as the only cat in the home but may tolerate a laid back male.
She is very clean with the litter tray and loves her wet food. She will need a home WELL AWAY FROM ANY BUSY OR FAST ROADS with a nice safe garden to play in.
Poppy is being fostered in Swadlincote but can be rehomed further afield to the right home subject to homecheck and donation of £70
