Luke is a black male and Lexi is his black and white sister, born
around 1st June 24, they are both neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and they will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.
Luke and Lexi were born outside to a stray mum cat and lacked early handling that is so critical during early weeks, they were living on waste ground next to a garden and being fed daily by a kind lady who was desperate to get them some help when she saw that the kittens had sore eyes. Luckily we were able to trap all the family and get them all of the veterinary treatment they needed, they are now very fit and well.
Both kittens have come on well since being in our foster home, they will allow the foster mum to stroke them but they will still hiss at times and are very nervous. We know it's an almost impossible ask currently to find domestic homes willing or able to put the time into socialising these kinds of babies, it takes time, patience and yet more time......but they do all eventually come round. As an alternative we will consider homing them to a rural outdoor home where someone lives onsite permanently and where, if they wish in the future, they would be allowed inside. They will need a really warm, cosy, dry place to stay and obviously will need feeding twice a day.
They are both eating really well and are clean with the litter tray.
They can happily share a home with other friendly, neutered felines (in fact it would help them massively) and they could learn to live with a cat friendly dog and would be fine with sensible older children.
They are looking for a home WELL AWAY FROM ANY BUSY OR FAST ROADS. Being fostered in Swadlincote, South Derby's but can be rehomed further afield to the right home subject to homecheck and adoption donation of £50 per kitten.
