Star is a 4 and a half month old cane corso girl, she is fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and has a clean bill of health. She will be rehomed on a strict spay contract where you will agree to have her spayed once she is old enough (with a large breed like her this is likely to be around 12-18months of age). She
will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.

Star came to us from the pound before Christmas, unbelievably this little beauty was found dumped as a stray with no chip. We gave her the name Star because it just describes her perfectly, she really is a little superstar in every way.

Star has been in a foster home where she has been getting lots of training and socialisation, she is sharing her foster home with another large breed dog and we 100% want to find her a forever home with at least one other large breed young, playful dog as company. All
resident dogs in the home must be already neutered. She has benefitted so much from having a companion.

We are looking for an experienced home who are committed to carrying on with the work we have started with Stars training and social skills, this breed can be very protective of their home and family as they grow up and its important that new owners understand about these breed traits and how to manage them properly.

Star is virtually completely house trained now, she is also crate trained and enjoys her safe space especially when she has a stuffed kong or something tough to chew on, she doesn't like being left on her own (not surprising after being abandoned the way she was) but buy building on her confidence and gradually and slowly building on the time she is left this will improve but it can take some time, especially with a move to a new home. Its another reason we want her to live with other dogs. She will need a home where someone is around for most of the time, especially during her settling in period.

Star is brilliant on the lead, she is understandably excited when she first goes out but then settles down and walks beautifully. She knows all her basic commands and is so eager to please she is like a sponge soaking it all up. Her recall is really good (still using a long line when out at the moment)

She LOVES her food and is fed using a slow feeder as she is still in the mindset of not knowing if there is another meal coming so will hoover it up but she has no issues around food with either people or other dogs but she is of course left to eat her meal in peace. She takes treats gently too. She is a bit of a thief where food is concerned so no leaving things on worktops that she can reach!
including a cup of tea.

Star travels brilliantly in the car and loves going out and about on new adventures, she will mostly ignore other dogs when out and is happy meeting new people.

Star hasn't been tested around cats, she seems fascinated by children, due to her size and breed we are seeking a home with resident children age 8yrs and over (younger visiting children would be fine we have no
issues around her  temperament). She will need a home with a good sized, securely fenced garden to play in.

Being fostered in Rushden, Northants but can be rehomed further afield subject to homecheck and adoption donation of £300

If you feel you meet all her criteria and can offer a committed forever home to this beauty please email us telling us in details all about your home offer along with your full address and contact details to
