Lottie is a 3yr old dinky black working cocker girl (10kg) she is spayed, micro-chipped, vaccinated, flea and wormed and also had a scale and polish. She will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.
Poor little Lottie arrived as a stray after being found abandoned, she has been bred from multiple times, was absolutely skin and bone and covered in Demodex mange. Her mange has been treated and she is still having weekly malaseb baths but her fur is starting to grow back well and she already looks so much better than when she arrived several weeks ago.
Lottie is a dear little dog, all she wants is to be loved. She has clearly been dealt a hard hand as she will drop to the floor and roll on her back when you approach her sometimes which breaks your heart when all she will get from here is love and fusses but it will take time for her to realise all humans arent bad and out to use and abuse. This little girl deserves all the love and kindness in the world.
Lottie absolutely loves other dogs and will seek them out not only to play with, she loves a game of wrestling or ball chasing, but she will often be found snuggled up with one of the other spaniels, particularly another little working cocker girl we have looking for a home called Katie. It would be so lovely if these girls found a home together but if not Lottie 100% needs another young, neutered spaniel type dog in her new home for companionship, these ex breeders do not cope as only dogs.
Lottie hasn't been bothered by cats or livestock here and is so sweet nature we are happy to consider homes with gentle children age 5yrs plus. She is 90% clean in the house and non destructive, she is a quiet girl (don't think I have even heard her bark) she walks ok on the lead but can be a bit nervous and will need a more rural home as a busy area with lots of noisy traffic etc would be too much for her.
She travels ok in the car and was good with the vets, she can be left for a few hours with another dog for company. Given her breed she will require plenty of exercise and nice country walks, her recall is good once completely bonded but she is a little nervous so a long line will be needed for a while.
Being fostered in Swadlincote, Derbys but can be rehomed further afield subject to homecheck and donation of £250
