Bebe is a nearly 3yr old tabby and white male, he is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated.
He needed to have a huge dental even at such a young age as due to his neglect his teeth were rotten, he now just had his canines remaining
but is so much happier and fully recovered. He now has a clean bill of health and will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.
Poor Bebe came to us in December along with 4 other cats from an emergency welfare situation. They had been living in absolute squalor, were skin and bone, running live with hundreds of fleas and full of worms and of course wasn't neutered. These poor poor cats had been very badly neglected over a long period.
Bebe is a gorgeous super sweet boy with not an ounce of malice in him, he really does enjoy a fuss and although it can take a little bit of time to find his feet once he knows you his confidence blossoms and he loves coming for attention.
He has only ever lived with the other cats and gets on well with the others he is sharing with and really does need a feline friend in his
new home. (Badger is his dad and they would happily continue to share a home or he can live with another resident cat)
As you can imagine after being starving he really does enjoy his wet and dry food and gets through 3 pouches a day and a bowl of dry, he
still eats it like he is ravenous and this will take time to slow down but he has gained a lovely lot of weight already.
The cats use of the litter tray wasn't good when they first arrived but over the weeks they have improved however they will only toilet in
a clean tray, so if another has already used it to pooh in they will go on the floor of the cattery. It's not surprising given the place they were living was filthy with no clean amenities to use so they are naturally seeking out a clean space. As long as a tray is kept clean we don't think this will be an ongoing problem but new owners will
need to be prepared.
Bebe isn't used to being around dogs but may be confident enough to live with a small cat friendly dog. He is fine with children 6yrs plus and cat savvy, he is ok being picked up and will come and sit with you. He travels ok and was good with the vets.
Bebe will need a home WELL AWAY FROM ANY BUSY OR FAST ROADS with a nice safe garden to play in once fully settled in. Being fostered in
Swadlincote but can be rehomed further afield subject to home check and adoption donation of £100
