*****REHOMING DURING THE CURRENT COVID19 CRISIS*****
Safely rehoming any of our animals will always be our top priority and it has been so very difficult to make any decisions about reopening our doors to rehoming at the moment. DEFRA have provided some guidelines to allow rescues to rehome whilst maintaining social distancing and protecting both our volunteers and adopters but it does mean that at the moment adopters CANNOT visit the rescue or foster homes to view an animal before adoption. We are starting to accept local applications (must be within a 1hr drive max of the animals location) and will be extra cautious with our telephone interviews (which may include a facetime virtual homecheck) and if all is well then one of our volunteers would then bring the animal to you for a meet and greet and adoption. You must be able to pay the adoption donation by bank transfer or paypal and an adoption form will be completed online with you. We would ask that if you or any family member in your home has had any symptoms of COVID 19 that you do not apply to adopt at this current time. Our priority is to keep everyone as well as our animals safe. Thank you for your co-operation. All of our cats are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and with 5 weeks free pet insurance. We don't generally rehome to indoor only homes but we do occasionally have cats with special needs who will be happy with an indoor home. We only rehome our kittens in pairs so please do not ask us for just one (adult cats can be homed singly). If they are too young to be neutered before leaving us we will issue you with a neutering discount voucher to be used at our vets in Swadlincote, Northampton, Alcester or Newport, Shrops and you must agree to get them neutered as soon as they are able to be done. We ask for a donation of £60 per cat/kitten to help towards our costs plus there is currently an added cost to cover fuel to bring the animal to you based on 15p per mile return trip.
