Lina is a 5yr old blue and tan French bulldog, she is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and has also had a big dental with us. She will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.
Lina came to us from the stray pound several weeks ago, she had been bred from multiple times and was underweight, in poor condition, had kennel cough and she was also lame too and it was clear some investigation was needed poor girl. We immediately got her onto some pain relief and she underwent xrays and the poor girl was discovered to have a few things going on. She has some mild hip displaysia in one hip, grade 2 luxating patella in both knees (its graded 1-5 so its at the lower end of the scale) and she also had some changes to a couple of vertabrae and discs in her back, these poor little dogs are so badly bred our heart breaks for them. She doesn't require surgery but she does require ongoing support to keep her comfortable and happy. Since starting her on natural pain relief, joint suppliments and anti inflammatory she is like a different dog and is so happy and playful and has no lameness. We use a top quality CBD oil and Golden Turmeric paste, its so safe to use, not expensive and of course a natural alternative to medication which we want to avoid using longterm in a young dog like Lina.
Lina is just THE sweetest girl, she honestly doesnt have a bad bone in her body, she loves everyone and everything and will make an amazing addition to the right home. She has formed a lovely friendship with our other Frenchie Pansy so could be rehomed with her as a pair or as a companion for another friendly resident dog that she can bond with. She LOVES other dogs so we do want her to have a canine companion in her new home.
Lina is such a happy girl now, she loves playing with toys and with the other dogs in foster, she is so well behaved and you really dont know you've got her. She loves a fuss and plenty of attention but is equally happy snuggling down with her canine pals for a snooze on one of the comfy beds.
She has no issues around food or toys with other dogs or people, she is great with the vets, travels ok in the car, walks nicely on the lead and is housetrained. She sleeps quietly downstairs at night with the other dogs and has no seperation anxiety so is ok being left for a few hours, she doent need to be crate trained, she isnt destructive at all.
Lina can even live with dog savvy cats that are already used to dogs and absolutely loves children so we are happy to consider homes with gentle, respectful children who wont pull her around aged 4yrs and over.
She will need a home with a nice safe garden to play in with someone who can provide her with some nice gentle daiy walks and love her like the princess she is.
Being fostered in Swadlincote but can be rehomed further afield to the right home subject to homecheck and an adoption donation of £250
