Evita (merle female) and Clint (male) are a heavily bonded pair of Great Danes needing a home TOGETHER, they are around 4-5yrs old, both neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and have a clean bill of health. They will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.

These beautiful dogs found themselves abandoned in Ireland, they were rescued by a local rescue and have spent nearly 18 months there with zero hope of finding a home. A rescue friend of ours was asked if they would bring them to the UK and reached out to us for our help in finding their forever home due to our 40 plus years of dane experience here, of course we were pleased to help.

Clint is a loving, confident lad who is Evita's comfort blanket, she is very shy and nervous until she gets to know people and she 100% relies heavily on Clint for confidence, she follows him everywhere and leans on him for support. She arrived very underweight but and with some skin infection but she is now blossoming and gaining weight nicely with the correct nutrition and vet care. They CANNOT be split so please dont ask.

Both dogs are your typical gentle giants, they have been introduced to another great dane, large labs and bullbreeds and have been great with all of them so they could happily share a home with another gentle neutered larger dog or of course would be happy as the only dogs in the home. We dont know how they feel about cats yet and young children would be too much for Evita so resident kids would need to be dane savvy, calmer and aged 10yrs plus.

They walk well on the lead, Clint leads with Evita sticking close by, but she is easily spooked so they will suit a more rural environment as they aren't used to busy towns and heavy traffic. If you have some land that would be even more ideal! They will need a home with a secure garden and ideally you will be dane (or giant breed) experienced.

They are fine to be left for several hours as they have each other, they haven't been destructive or shown any separation anxiety and they travel ok together too.

Being fostered in Pembrokeshire, South West Wales however transport may be able to be arranged on this occasion if location is an issue. Home offers will of course be subject to home check and an adoption donation of £450 for the pair.

If you can offer these beauties the experienced, dedicated forever home they soooo deserve please email us telling us all about your home offer in detail along with your FULL ADDRESS and CONTACT number to wonkypetsrescue@gmail.com
