Lola is a 1yr old French Bulldog (birthday 1st Aug), she is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, she will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.
Lola came to us from the pound as a stray and despite being chipped was never claimed and we just don't understand why as she is adorable. She arrived with an ear infection which has responded well to treatment and is now cleared up and we have her on a nice grain free diet now to support her going forward. She was also found to have a partially collapsed trachea when she was spayed so we have gone ahead with a BOAS surgery to correct her tonsils, palate and nostrils making it much more comfortable for her to breathe going forward and preventing any future issues, she has taken it all in her stride and recovering really well.
Lola is a little pocket rocket, she is SOOO happy to enthusiastically greet everyone she meets, she is great at jumping straight on you and giving plenty of kisses, she really is an adorable girl.
Lola is a typical little bull in a china shop kinda girl, everything is done at a hundred miles an hour, she loves to play, destroy any soft toys, race around the garden and this little dog cant jump! she can easily clear a baby gate and so any fences and gates need to be at least 6ft to keep her safe. She can also be a bit of a door darter so we are seeking a home that can provide a safeguard to any front door and wont be considering homes located on busy roads just in case.
Lola is great with other dogs generally and loves to play, she will do the typical frenchie thing that if play gets too rough or a dog has a pop her she will retaliate but she would absolutely suit a home with another evenly matched Frenchie or similar or we can consider her as the only dog as long as she has lots of attention and someone around most of the time. She would absolutely LOVE a family home with older kids (7yrs plus) who can play with her, cuddle her and take her on lots of family adventures together.
Her toilet training has improved lots in her time with us and she has been non destructive (unless you are a soft dog toy!), she loves to sleep on the bed with you or on the floor in the bedroom but is ok to be left a few hours in the day especially after a nice long walk. She is a little strong on the lead at first but walks well, she travels great in the car and is good with the vet and happy being handled all over. In fact she will throw herself on her back for a belly rub.
She will need a home with a good sized very secure garden with min 6ft fences. Being fostered in Burton Upon Trent but can be rehomed further afield subject to home check and adoption donation of £350
