Maisie is a beautiful 1yr old calico female, she has been flea and worm treated, microchipped, spayed, and has had her 1st vaccination. She can return to one of our vets in Swadlincote, Tamworth or Northampton for a FREE 2nd vaccination. She will also be rehomed with 5 weeks' free pet insurance and has a clean bill of health.
Maisie had given birth to 2 kittens in a garden, another so called rescue took the kittens and left poor Maisie behind! Luckily her feeder managed to catch her and took her into our vets who asked for our help with her....of course we said yes, poor girl.
Maisie has had a really tough start to life being left to stray and then having to live on her witts whilst raising her kittens for them to be taken away from her, she is understandably nervous. She has settled into the cattery well considering and every day we are watching her blossom and her getting braver. She will need a kind and patient home who understand that she will take some time to blossom and needs to be given the time and space to settle in before she is likely to want to come for attention. There is no malice in her at all and she will allow us to stroke her now but it takes time to win her trust, she just needs to be given that chance.
Maisie wants a home with another young resident cat for company she has loved being able to pen share with other felines and its really helping her feel safe and secure.
She could happily live with quieter, respectful children age 8yrs.
Maisie will need a home WELL AWAY FROM ANY BUSY OR FAST ROADS, with access to a safe garden where she can enjoy exploring once she has fully settled into her new home but bear in mind this could be several weeks/months away before she is ready. We will also consider homes with a large well equipped catio or a cat proofed garden would be purfect.
Being fostered in Swadlincote but she can be rehomed further afield subject to a successful home check and an adoption donation of £100.
