Meet beautiful Molly, a 9-year-old Jack Russell Terrier cross Chihuahua who is searching for a loving new family after sadly losing the only home she has known for many years.
This little lady is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, flea and worm treated, and has a clean bill of health.
Molly was originally rehomed by another rescue when she was a young dog and enjoyed a wonderful life with her devoted owners. Sadly, both of her owners have now passed away, and Molly has found herself looking for a forever home once again.
As you can imagine, moving into foster care has been a big adjustment for Molly, and she is understandably finding all the recent changes a little scary. Once she feels safe, however, she is a loving, affectionate little dog who simply wants to be close to her people. In fact, her favourite place is curled up on your lap or snuggled up beside you on the sofa or bed.
Molly would ideally like to be the only dog in her new home where she can enjoy all of the attention to herself.
However, we would consider a home with another small, friendly, quiet neutered dog of a similar size. She has been excellent with the dog-savvy cats in her foster home and seems to adore children. She could happily live with gentle, respectful children aged 6 years and over and would also be fine around younger visiting children.
Like many small dogs, Molly can be a little vocal when she feels worried or if she is left alone for too long. She is used to having plenty of company and would love a home where someone is around for much of the day. She thrives on companionship.
Molly is house trained, travels well in the car once settled, enjoys her food and loves her home comforts. One of her greatest joys is sharing a bed with her humans at night, so her new family should be prepared to welcome this little princess on the bed!
She would make the perfect companion for a mature but active person or couple looking for a loyal little shadow to accompany them on daily adventures and then curl up beside them afterwards. She enjoys her walks and will need a safe, fully enclosed garden where she can safely potter, explore and play.

Molly is currently being fostered in Swadlincote but can be rehomed further afield, subject to a successful home check and an adoption donation of £300.
