Basil is a 5-6 month old male gerbil who is looking for a new forever home ideally with another lonely male gerbil to bond with (we can help with bonding if local enough)

Basil came into us along with his two sisters! lucky after pregnancy watch there were no babies phew!

Basil needs a LARGE new home, min 4ft fish tank is ideal, gerbils love to dig and tunnel of course so there needs to be nice deep substrate and lots for him to chew on to keep his teeth in tip top condition. Sadly so many of the cages sold in pet shops simply aren't anywhere near suitable to give these little guys a good quality of life. 

These guys hadnt been handled too much so are still quite nervous and not that keen on being picked up. They aren't suitable pets for small children as they are so quick and nimble but we will consider homes with sensible children aged 10yrs and over who have owned small rodents before.

Being fostered in Burton Upon Trent but can be rehomed further afield. We will want to see a video of your set up and an adoption donation applies.
