Spot is a 6 month old terrier mix (6.7kg), he is neutered, microchipped, had a 1st vaccination and is flea and worm treated. He has a clean bill of health and will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.
Spot and his brother were being walked around a busy city centre on a red hot day by someone trying to give them away, luckily we were able to secure them and bring them to safety.
Spot is a super little chap, he is super friendly with people and loves to give kisses and jump on you for a fuss and a play, he really is a little power ball of energy.
Spot is a proper little terrier with strong full on terrier traits, he is great with our other dogs in the pack both large and small and he is a pup so of course loves to play but his terrier side does come out if things get over the top or someone has a pop at him and he will go into tenacious terrier mode and dive in full force. He 100% needs a terrier experienced, savvy home.
We do want him to be homed with another placid, neutered YOUNG PLAYFUL dog who he can learn from and be buddies with so please DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DONT MEET THIS CRITERIA.
When out on the lead or in public places he has got sooo much better out and about with other dogs and did brilliantly recently at our big dog show saying hello to dogs of all shapes and sizes. A new owner will need to demonstrate their commitment to his further training and socialisation including training classes where appropriate.
Spot absolutely cannot live with cats or small furries, he has been ok with our livestock through the fence. He can live in a home with dog savvy resident children age 6yrs and over. He is eating well and has no possession issues around toys or food. He sleeps quietly downstairs at night.
Spot will need a home with a lovely secure garden and where someone is at home a good part of the day. He is now fully housetrained.
