Boe and Buddy are a pair of pugs who found themselves in the stray pound.

Boe is a 13yr old female and Buddy is around 6yrs old and male. Both are neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, Boe has also had a dental with us with a few bad teeth removed. Both will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.

Boe and Buddy get on really well and its clear they have always been together, Boe is a happy, confident, funny girl and Buddy relies on her quite a bit, he is much less confident about the world and was so scared in the pound he was quite snappy but since coming into foster and given some time to settle in he has learnt that he can trust us and is now a super little lad but any new owners will need to understand that he needs to be give some space and patience to build a bond before rushing him. They are both affectionate and love a snuggle on the sofa with you.

Both dogs are really great with other dogs both inside and outside the home so can happily live with other friendly, neutered dogs, they are brilliant with cats and fine with older, quieter children aged 12yrs plus, we cant home with resident children younger than this as Buddy finds little children a worry, they are too noisy and fast for him.

There housetraining is generally good, they will need a home with a nice secure garden to play in. Buddy does like the sound of his own voice and being in foster in a terraced house at the moment he will sit on the window sill and try and bark at passing people/cars etc when he gets the chance.

They are obviously used to being crated as they found it difficult to settle downstairs or when left alone at first, we introduced a nice big crate with comfy blankets and treats which they happily ran into and settled straight down so this is now where they sleep at night with no issues and if the fosterer pops out.

They walk well on the lead and both still enjoy their daily walks to the park, they travel ok in the car and were really good with the vet. Being pugs they enjoy their food and have both wet and dry food twice daily.

Being fostered in Northampton but can be rehomed further afield to the right home subject to home check and adoption donation of £350 for the pair.

If you can offer a "puggy" home to this little pair please email us telling us all about your home offer in detail along with your full address and contact number to wonkypetsrescue@gmail.com
