Lolli is a tiny 16yr old maltese cross, she is spayed, microchipped, flea and worm treated, we chose not to vaccinate her in conjunction with our vets due to her age.  She has also had a big dental with us and despite having a grade 4 heart murmur, her heart scan revealed that she did not require any medication as despite some leakage from one valve causing the murmur, her parameters were within normal range which is great news.  She will be re-homed with 5 weeks free pet insurance despite her age.

Poor
Lolli found herself in the stray dog pound along with her lifelong friend, heartbreakingly they both contracted kennel cough whilst there which was left untreated and her friend devastatingly passed away with pneumonia. Lolli was incredibly poorly when she arrived with us and we of course got her straight to the vets where she got all the help she needed, to be honest we thought we were going to lose her too but this tough little cookie rallied and is now fully recovered after much TLC from her fosterer.

Lolli is just the dearest, sweetest little poppet you can imagine, she is so gentle and loving and just soooo deserves a retirement home with someone who will shower her with the love and adoration she deserves.
She absolutely loves lots of fuss, to sit on your knee and to snuggle up in bed with you at night, she is the best companion dog.

She does have the odd accident in the house but will also use a puppy pad too so its not the end of the world. She walks ok on her little harness is happy to go for a little potter but is equally happy just sniffing around the garden when the weather is cold or rainy.  She does love her home comforts and a snuggly blanket.

Lolli is great with everyone and everything she meets, she loves other dogs and will often be found snuggled up with others, she is great with cats and gentle around small visiting children too, given her age she is best in a home without permanent resident small children though.  She is ok being left for short periods with other dogs around but really would cherish a home where someone is around most of the time so they can be constant companions for each other.

She is excellent with the vets and with the groomer and travels ok in the car.

Please don't let her age put you off, she is such a tough little cookie who has been through so much and still going strong. She has no ongoing medical bills.

Being fostered in Swadlincote, Derby's she can be rehomed further afield but we would prefer not too far due to her age. Home offers subject to home check and adoption donation of £125

If you can offer this little sweetheart her forever retirement home please email us telling us all about your home offer in detail along with your FULL ADDRESS and contact number to wonkypetsrescue@gmail.com
