Mavis is around 18 months old, black and white female, she is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, flea and worm treated and will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance. She is FIV/FELV negative.

 

Mavis was handed into a vets as a stray, she was very underweight with a high temperature. Despite the fact she was wearing a collar, she wasn't chipped and no one claimed her so after receiving some antibiotics to bring her temperature back to normal and serving her statutory time she then came into our care.

 

She appears to have quite a severe reaction to fleas as she somehow aquired a flea bite which caused her skin to flare up badly making her

scratch herself raw in places. She also had a skin reaction to a topical flea treatment even though previous treatments had been fine.

Her skin has all calmed and healed now but its obviously going to be really important for her that she has regular flea preventative treatments in her new home, and an oral flea tablet from vet will

probably suit her best.

 

Mavis is a tiny little cat, she has blossomed into a gentle, loving, super affectionate, playful little girl and would suit a home that can give her plenty of attention and loves, she craves attention now.

 

She is sharing with other cats with us and absolutely loves them so she can share her new home with another feline friend or she could be

the only cat with plenty of human company. She would be able to learn to live with a calm cat friendly dog and would be no problem with

gentle children aged 4yrs and over.

 

Mavis is enjoying her wet and dry food and is very partial to a Lik e Lik treat, she is really clean with the litter tray too. She is looking for a home WELL AWAY FROM ANY BUSY OR FAST ROADS with a nice

garden to play in once fully settled in.

 

Being fostered in Swadlincote, Derby's but can be re-homed further afield subject to homecheck and adoption donation of £100.
