Nala is a 7yr old Maltese x (possibly yorkie), she is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, flea and worm treated and had a dental with us. She will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance. She had
itchy ears on arrival with some yeast infection but this has now been resolved.

Nala was in the same home from a pup and very much loved and well cared for, as with a lot of young families a human baby came along and
as the baby became more mobile Nala became increasingly anxious so the family rehomed her privately. Unfortunately after just 2 weeks the new
owner decided they couldn't cope with a dog (not Nala's fault) and then readvertised her on a selling page. Another rescue reached out to us to ask us to help get Nala safe so she didn't end up keep getting passed around.

Nala is a lovely little girl and is a bit of a princess, she loves being on your lap and being picked up. She is a nervous little dog who needs a lot of reassurance and once over her initial wariness will
bond to her person strongly.

She is needing a quieter, calm but dog experienced home with someone who can give her time, patience and a calm energy to help her settle
in and blossom. She is a sweet girl but because of her nervousness can
snap when scared (at the vets for example).

Nala can be vocal at times and likes to bark at birds, noises and other dogs that she sees when out, she is ok around other small dogs
but avoids them rather than interacting so she needs a home where she is the only dog and can have all the attention. She isn't suited to live with cats or children under the age of 12yrs although she would be ok with sensible visiting children.

Nala does like to be with her people most of the time so sleeps on her fosters bed at night and will need someone around most of the time.
She would really suit an active retired person who is home a lot but who can still provide a good level of activity and exercise for Nala as she isn't an elderly dog and loves her walks. She travels well in
the car on a seatbelt harness, is spotless in the house, non destructive and was good with the groomer too.

Nala is being fostered in Swadlincote, Derbys but can be rehomed further afield subject to a home check and adoption donation of £300.
